My passion for design began at home, watching my mother
spend hours painting. I loved to sit and watch her create
every detail, from painting eyes on wooden figures to
adding fur on various animals in her designs. This
instilled in me a desire to make my own art. I have always
been a visual communicator. From my earliest days in
school, I would finish my assignments early just to fill the
margins with illustrations and bubble letters-a habit that
my teachers didn't always appreciate, but one that fueled
my creativity. When I got to middle school, I selected art
instead of music. Both of my brothers took the music
route, but the art route was calling my name. I have always
loved to learn new ways to create art. Today, I have traded
those margins for professional tools like Adobe
Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
